One of my wife's feet is swollen slightly but because these are Mary Jane style with velcro straps both shoes fit properly.Alegria is a brand I can trust to fit perfectly and support my long hours on my feet.Edging on top of shoe is uncomfortable at times, finish feels rough and stretches. Alegria is a great quality shoe but this one was not as good.The shoe fits well and is true to size (I wear a 38 or an 8 medium) and the shoe is a stunner in the blue (? "speckled") print. Love the construction around the edge that provides a "protection" against scuffs. (Very smart idea). Also of note, the arch support is very good. The one downside for me is that the sole is not rubber. Afraid I would slip in these so alas I must return them. Alegria Baby Janes are my favorite shoe! This would have been my fifth pair. My fault - I didn't check to see what material was used for the sole. My others all have rubber soles .Love these. On my feet for long hours. They are very comfortable and attractive.Alegria Belle are my favorite shoes. I am on my feet all day with my young students and my tootsies are so happy. I have quite a few pairs.I really like the style; the shoe is similar to a birk but. The strap doesn’t open very wide so shoes couldn’t be worn with thick socks. Runs a little small. I normally take a size 9, I found true to size. But wearing a thin sock. But very cute, and comfy after breaking in one time.Comfortable and breathable for summer. Fits my style tooNormally I fit a size 39 in a shoe but I need a lot of space for my toes which fan out so I bought a size 40. They ended up being too loose in the back. They are very comfortable otherwise (a good orthopedic shoe) except I gotta say...this is quite an ugly shoe, gives you big duck feet! A round toe rather than a square toe would be cuter I think. They were also too shiny but I fixed that problem. I'll only wear them in March or November when I can't wear boots or sandals.The wrong size was sent... I ended up selling them to a friend... she does like them... I just wish I could have enjoyed them...I love Alegria shoes! That is all I wear at work, as I stand on concrete floors all day. They are a great, orthopedic shoe. They are great for wide feet.
